Win Win Win

We won! We successfully defended the Champions Trophy. (Still would have liked to win the Ashes)

I am willing to think that Watson will amount to something. Maybe I was wrong about him.

Same with Cameron White. Never thought he was good enough.

And Hauritz actually can bowl.

But now there is hope. Hope for the future of Aussie cricket. Hope that we can continue to work our way to the top.

And once again, hopefully, become what we were for a decade: Unbeatable.

Go Aussie Go!!!

Until next time,

Cheers!!!

  1. :-) Good!!! With India out my only interest in this series was that Pakistan shouldn't win :D

  2. And here I thought that all Indians were waiting to watch the Aussies lose...so much so they would be happy with Pak winning.

  5. Watto was fantastic, wasn't he? And nice to hear people finally praising Hauritz. I am biased toward him, but he deserves some credit.

Someone on the cricket australia fan page on facebook said "finally Hauritz gets some wickets"!!!! I think he has taken wickets in all but 2 of the ODIs Australia have played this last 2 months! He got something like 2 - 28 in a couple of the ODIs in England.

    OK rant over.

I, too, am a big fan of Gilchrist. He shares the place of my all time favourite cricketer with Sir Steven (we are not worthy).

  6. I missed the match :| Australia is a good team. No doubt about it. Gilly and Mc grath are my favs and yeah legends! Never liked Ponting much, he had everything on a silver platter but still he is batting well and doing a fairly good job. they would go to number 1 very soon.

  7. @ Aditya: We don't even get the match here on free tv (I don't have cable) so I had to wait till morning and see the news! Yeah, I loved Gilly, McGrath, Steve Waugh, Langer....Ponting I don't love but don't hate either.
