So...I've been really good for months now. Not really spending money frivolously. Yes I do cave when it comes to books but I have stopped myself from buying clothes or shoes or technological or stationery stuff I don't really need.
Until last week.
Now mind you, it was not an impulse buy. I wanted it on the 30th of April as I was shopping for a birthday gift for a friend. But then I decided to go home and think about it. And then finally, last Tuesday I made up my mind that I was going to get it. After all, I had been thinking about this since the end of last year. So Wednesday morning since I started work late (and finished late), I went to the shop and got myself this:
Yes, that's exactly the camera I bought myself. It's red in colour!
No more actual batteries required. No more camera dying on me every couple of days.
So I now have an excuse to take pictures!! =)
Until next time,
Cheers!!!
Until last week.

ReplyDeleteFingers crossed... =)
ReplyDeleteYep...I'm going to start taking it with me on my morning walks. May get lucky and capture a sunrise...who knows??? =P
ReplyDeleteHey, just found your blog page while reading through one of Venice's blog posts.
ReplyDeleteI just had to comment here. you were talking about impulse buys (or not so impulsive as is in your case). Had one of those experiences last week. I'd harly spent money on unnecessary buys and the last week I spent $600 on a spanking new bicycle, and I dont even commute much on the bicycle, just small rides. Good thing my friend was there to control my spending, as I was almost going to spend $300 more on better one :)
PS:Love the Header
Welcome Nonce! Okay...your impulse buy makes me feel a whole lot better given that the camera was less than $200. And I do reckon it's always good to go with friends who stop you from spending recklessly...I didn't buy the camera on sight because a friend asked me to think about it and whether I needed it! :P (Not that it helped comepletely...) And thanks about the header...courtesy my little sister! Do keep visiting! =)
ReplyDeleteCant agree more. Interestingly, it was my friend who wanted to buy a bike in the 1st place, and I ended up riding out of the shop.
ReplyDeleteAnyway looking forward to reading your posts, happy blogging :)
