Lol! I thought it looked like a sinister place out of a story book...where bad things happen at night...there were a few Enid Blyton stories that had lighthouses in them... :P But now that you mention...it does look like a giant with an open mouth.... =D
looking at it from that angle, i got confused and thought that it was a lighthouse! I guessed a bit later that it was possibly a letterbox? Is that a worse guess than the first?
That's what I thought...to me it represented something out of an Enid Blyton book...where you can go away and have an adventure but which starts off as a picnic spot =)
Nice :) Looks like a giant with his mouth open :P

ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place to hide in. Just carry a huge satchel of books, some food and drink and you are set for the day ... week ... month!
ReplyDeleteGreat wordless Wednesday. From that station, one may observe the world beneath :)

ReplyDeleteOh the rest of the view was lovely Sam...I only wish we were permitted to go up the lighthouse...would have been awesome!
ReplyDeleteYour first guess was right! It is in fact a lighthouse. But form a certain angle, it also seems like a letterbox. And welcome to my blog! =)
