For want of a crystal ball

Sometimes I wish I had a crystal ball...to be able to tell at least some of the future. It would make it so much easier to make some decisions. You never know whether a decision is right or wrong until much later. With hindsight. And that's where the problem lies. You have to take the plunge not knowing whether it is a good decision or not. Sometimes you regret it. Sometimes you don't.

At this point in time, I want to make sure that this particular decision I'm planning on making is right. But sadly, due to the lack of a crystal ball, I won't know. And it's driving me nuts! It's not good being an anxious person.

Until next time,

  4. Thanks LP...that's the problem with decisions though...we never know until much later! Just worried that if I do go forth, I could be missing out on something else...something else might change. It's all very confusing...at least in my head! Thanks for the wishes... =)

  8. Indeed, being able to know the future would make life a lot easier. But I wonder if it would also detract from its beauty, its excitement, its realism. I think mistakes are integral aspect of humanity, but I do hope that all goes well for you! :)

  13. Dear PB,
True, decision making is pretty confusing sometimes. A lots of questions arise in our mind when we think about the decision we are going to take. I think relying on your intuition might help you. Just close your eyes, take deep breath and listen to yourself & what your intuition says.
    Good luck! :)

  20. Yeah I know I think too much...and being an anxious person means I think negatively about the future...so that doesn't help at all!!!

  21. Hmm...not so sure about that logic. I would have rejected a lot of things in that case.

  29. Sigh...done that...and still confused despite what they have said. Even made
a list of pros and cons myself. Still confused. Like I said, things would be
a whole lot easier if I could just see how the decision would pan out! =P

  30. Yep...lots of questions and lots of 'what ifs...' My intuition is
perpetually confused so I don't think it's very reliable! =P Thanks for the
