Gratitude Photo Challenge - Day 9

As part of Day 9 of the photo challenge, I need to share a picture of an inspiring person. Remember, these are pictures we have taken ourselves. So even though I think the likes of J. K. Rowling and Jodi Picoult are inspiring, I haven't seen or met them to take their pictures. But there is someone else I have met. Someone who has inspired me for years. Someone who I met after having revered them for over a decade. Regulars probably know by now who I am talking about. And I've shared this picture previously on my blog but I reckon there's no harm in showing it again.

It is the one and only Adam Gilchrist. [And my hair and black top to the left of the picture] Gilly is inspiring because of the manner in which he had to fight his way into the Australian team. He is inspiring because of the honesty and integrity he brings to the game of cricket. He is inspiring because he played true to himself and his values at all times. And he is inspiring because he is one of the best cricketers of all time.

Until next time,

Cheers!!!
