Well, sort of.
I’m an Android fan. More importantly, I am a Google fan. You see, I own a Google Nexus phone (by Samsung) and the latest Google Nexus 7 2 tablet. I have been stalking Google to find out more about the Nexus 5. Not because there’s anything wrong with my Nexus. It still works perfectly. But I feel like I could do with the latest phone they have on offer.
During one of my recent hikes, I was mentioning to a friend about the rumours surrounding Android 4.4 and another hiker who has been getting to know me only recently was quite surprised and went “Oh! So you’re a geek!“.
Well, maybe I am.
I am after all, the IT support person at work. Whenever anything is wrong with anyone’s computer, they call me. I seem to have a magical touch *ahem*. I am no IT nerd but I do like technology. To the point of being a bit addicted sometimes. Anyway, so when I got contacted to review a tablet case for my Nexus 7 2, I had no hesitation to say yes. When I bought my Nexus tablet, I had also purchased a cover with a built-in keyboard. Because I’m a bit old-fashioned like that. But the one offered to me was without a keyboard. Here’s what it looks like:
Yes, it’s purple!
What I like about it:
- The colour!
- It is compact and lighter than the one I purchased.
- Fits in my handbag with ease.
- It is very sleek.
- The tablet unlocks itself when you open the cover and shuts down when closed.
What I don’t like about it:
- Not having an actual keyboard
Lately I have been using my tablet to read and catch up on blogs in bed. And consequently, have been using this cover because I’m not typing much. It has been pretty convenient!
Do you have a tablet? Do you find that you need a cover with a keyboard or are you fine with the touchpad?
***I was provided with the tablet cover for the purposes of this review. All opinions are my own. If you are looking at buying covers for the Nexus 7 2 or other mobile accessories, you can check out the MobileZap website to see if anything suits your needs.***
Until next time,
